Mountain Rescue Ireland (MRI) is a representative body whose membership comprises the 11 mountain rescue teams which provide a voluntary emergency response across the island of Ireland. MRI engages with the government both in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in order to secure funding, insurance cover and development for its member teams.
