AHOEC (Association of Heads of Outdoor Education Centres)
Committed to championing high quality outdoor learning at all levels, AHOEC is an association that represents over 200 outdoor organisations, centres and providers across the UK.
Our members hold senior positions in outdoor education provision in Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England and come from public, private and charity sectors as well as the wider educational community.
AHOEC manages the AHOEC Gold Standard provider accreditation scheme.  Encompassing not just safety but also quality of service, learning and provision, Gold Standard accreditation automatically entitles providers to the LOtC Quality Badge and AdventureMark.
AHOEC is a branch of the National Association of Head Teachers and seeks to influence outdoor education policy-making by working together with other sector organisations to speak with one voice on the value of outdoor experiences for all.
